Episode 51 - Serious Conversations

Avery/GM: Welcome to episode 51 of Beyond the Furthest Stars.

Anything else anyone wants to do before we wrap up the scene?

Bee/Polaris: Oh, probably give the, give like the, the stuff. Cause like, was the list just what the custodians needed to build new bodies or also to fix the factory?

Avery/GM: Both.

Bee/Polaris: Okay. So then Polaris is going to go to Zahn in the factory.

Avery/GM: Sure.

Bee/Polaris:  He's going to knock on the side of the door.

Zach/Zahn: The door's open.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, I know. It's to get Zahn's attention.

Zach/Zahn: Uh, he's gonna look up from whatever, like, diagnostic screen, because he's, like, compiling the list of needed materials.

 S sup?

Bee/Polaris: Polaris holds up the, the list. Actually, he'll just, like, he holds up the list, realizes, and then just, like, takes a picture on his visor and sends it to Zahn.

Avery/GM: It's, there's, to be fair, the list is, like, a data pad.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, okay, cool. Polaris will just give him the data pad.

Zach/Zahn: He'll be like, Oh, Oh, neat. He's like scrolling through it. What is this for?

Bee/Polaris: The factory and also the custodians need to use the factory to make new bodies. So,

Zach/Zahn: right. He's like looking at the fleshy parts.

He's like, I'm going to ignore that part. That's out of my, that's out of my contract. Like…

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, yeah. you know, don't worry about it. Just mostly the factory part.

Zach/Zahn: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Bee/Polaris: Also, um, sorry about your arm.

Zach/Zahn: He shrugs and then winces. I had it coming.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris also winces.

Zach/Zahn: He's like, yeah, I probably deserved it.

Bee/Polaris: Uh, I didn't mean to, like, that was fully, I wasn't thinking.

So like, even if you were kind of trying to, Laser blade your way out of the tarp. Um, I shouldn't have broken your arm. Especially since it won't heal as fast?

Zach/Zahn: I mean as fast. It'll probably heal the normal amount.

Bee/Polaris: What's the normal amount for you?

Zach/Zahn: I squint.

Bee/Polaris:  Also I squint.

Zach/Zahn: Like 12 weeks,

Bee/Polaris: sweating emoji.

Uh, how it depends on how many hit points it takes to like a broken bone takes. So I don't know, like

Avery/GM: based on your based on your ability, it's it's half up to half that amount of time.

Bee/Polaris: The, Polaris just does like the the like hand flat, like rocket side to side. I'd sort of think like, uh, about like six weeks at the most.

Zach/Zahn: You see his like lips pursed up and he is like, lucky you.

Bee/Polaris: Sorry, I didn't know.

Zach/Zahn: He like, lets out a sigh. And then shrugs again. And then winces again, because it

Bee/Polaris: Polaris also winces .

Zach/Zahn: He is like, it is - it, it is what it is now. Plus, I mean, we, we've got like. We've got, he goes into like, auto, macho, voiceover, voice, he's like, we have the technology to make it a little faster.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, I mean, the Ursa has like top of the line medical equipment, and I'm sure Marty and maybe Rho could help with that. So

Zach/Zahn: yeah, Marty's helped with other stuff in the past. It's all, it's all good.

Bee/Polaris: So sorry.

Zach/Zahn: Zahn will walk over and put his hand up on Polaris’s shoulder with a very awkward, like Sheldon. He's like, don't worry too much about it.

Bee/Polaris: I will say that I won't,

Zach/Zahn: but you will anyways. Yeah, I get it.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah. Yeah.

Zach/Zahn: All on the same page.

Bee/Polaris: And then at this point, Polaris like, an exclamation point comes up on the visor and he gasps and he says, We still have Coil.

Zach/Zahn: Zahn's like, gonna squint as he's trying to remember who that is, and he's like, eyes wide, he's like, Oh shit, we do.

Bee/Polaris: We haven't - He's just kind of been existing in there for like a week or two.

Zach/Zahn: I'm pretty sure he's, he's pissed no matter what because we blew up his body. And then took him prisoner.

Bee/Polaris: We didn't blow up his body, we just, EMP'd him.

Zach/Zahn: I mean, we beat the ever loving shit out of his body and then EMP'd him.

Jenine/Marty: That's true.

Bee/Polaris: No, we EMP'd him and then beat the shit out of his body.

Jenine/Marty: We did bad things.

Zach/Zahn: That's gotta be an awkward conversation at some point, I suppose. Zahn shrugs, and then winces.

Avery/GM: Especially cause like, obviously the cowboy persona is something that this robot built up. Um.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah. Can I, um, I really want his hat. Is there a role or something I can make to see if Polaris grabbed his hat?

Avery/GM: Sure.

Bee/Polaris: Or if, if, cause like we did ask for the robots.

Jenine/Marty: Yes.

Avery/GM: Speaking of Caden, uh, Bruce, um, you are searching through the cupboards to try and find something,

Caden/Bruce: alive, yeah, uh huh,

Avery/GM: for this Xeno. You do hear a small voice in your head. that just says, Bruce, there's an easier solution to this.

Jenine/Marty: Oh,

Caden/Bruce: and what would that be Eden?

Avery/GM: Instead of feeding the creature that wants to eat another living being, you can feed that creature to me.

Caden/Bruce: What did we say about eating live prey?

Avery/GM: Not to do it.

Caden/Bruce: That's right. Eden, we've had our conversation about eating real life creatures. If that's the way you want to live, you know that you're not going to be able to live here with me or my crew.

Avery/GM: No, you are correct. I just wanted to help. That's all. Your friend Marty seems very kind. I wouldn't want her to get eaten by such a violent creature.

Caden/Bruce: Has Bruce noticed anything changing when feeding Eden?

Avery/GM: You've noticed, oh, you've noticed a little, um, a little bud. It's not open yet. But there is a bud kind of sprouting out of the, out of the stem.

Caden/Bruce: hmmmm. hmmmm.

Avery/GM: And it's only been a few days.

Caden/Bruce: Yeahhh

Avery/GM: So I will say that Bruce has noticed that it's growing quickly.

Caden/Bruce:Yeah. I think Bruce is sick.

Zach/Zahn: Eden is just in a jar, right?

Caden/Bruce: In like a little pot. Yeah.

Avery/GM: Tupperware.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah. It was Tupperware.

Caden/Bruce: A little Tupperware container. Totally safe. Bruce. I think will say like, yeah, you're right, we don't want any harm coming to Marty.

That being said, you haven't really met her that well. Maybe we should, uh, go and get you two more acquainted.

Avery/GM:  Oh, we've already spoken.

Caden/Bruce: Like how you speak to me?

Avery/GM: Yes.

Caden/Bruce:  Do you speak to anyone else?

Avery/GM:No, I tried speaking with your friend Rho and Psi, but they were not interested in speaking. I also tried speaking to Zahn, but I don't think he is a fan.

Caden/Bruce: Oh, it's probably because you keep threatening to eat different beings.

Zach/Zahn: Without their consent. Consent is key.

Avery/GM: How else will I grow, if I don't consume?

Caden/Bruce: Well, don't you like the food that I feed you?

Avery/GM: Oh, it is very nourishing, but for growth, we require More.

Caden/Bruce: I feel like as this conversation is taking place, uh, Bruce is just walking to the med bay because that was the last place that he knew Marty had been, and is just trying to find Marty as he's talking to his plant, because I feel like now he's getting more and more concerned.

Bee/Polaris: Uh, Marty was on the ship. On the TISCAM.

Caden/Bruce: Is there a way for Bruce to get there?

Avery/GM: Yeah, Bruce, Bruce would have known that, that Marty is still on the TISCAM. Yeah, Marty, you see Bruce coming up to you holding a little Tupperware with a little plant sprout.

Jenine/Marty: Hi Bruce.

Caden/Bruce: And probably more concerning, talking to said plant.

Avery/GM: Yes, because Bruce talks out loud to it, even though

Caden/Bruce: Yes, Bruce doesn't know that it's like Bruce doesn't know how to mind talk. So yes, Bruce just talks out loud.

Jenine/Marty: Hello! Hi! What's up?

Caden/Bruce: Well, apparently Eden's been talking to you.

Jenine/Marty: Mm hmm.

Caden/Bruce: And Had. An idea.

Jenine/Marty: Mm hmm.

Caden/Bruce: And Bruce would like, be looking at Marty with like, You know the kind of look like when someone looks at you and has like the eyebrows raised, of like, this is a serious conversation but I can't say it out loud sort of thing? He's doing that look.

Um, and will be like, and thinks it's best if they consume our friend. And he'll wink. Instead of letting our friend consume others.

Jenine/Marty: Mm hmm. Okay. Um, hold please. And then do I have enough points? Oh, I still can't connect all of us into the same chat yet. Sad face.

Zach/Zahn: Is it the same brain chat?

Jenine/Marty: Yeah, I don't think I can, I can't put us on the same chat, especially I can't add Ollie to chat, unfortunately.

Bee/Polaris: Let's just give him a brain.

Caden/Bruce: A brain in the jar. Yes.

Jenine/Marty: I feel like I could do that though. That's the thing.

Chris/Ollie: I mean, there are ways I can, I can get an ability to be receptive to psychic abilities.

Jenine/Marty: I'm going to do a rule clarification.

Avery/GM: Sure.

Jenine/Marty: Cause I can do transmit thought and I can also do telepathic contact. And because I'm still like level one, does that mean it will only be between Bruce and I, and I have the knowledge that no one else would be able to enter this chat because I have started this chat and it can only be two way communication question mark?

Avery/GM: Yeah. So no one else would be able to pick up on that conversation.

Jenine/Marty: Amazing. Okay.

Avery/GM: Because you're not opening it to other people.

Jenine/Marty: Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. So I opened chat with, with Bruce, but it's still like, because I'm still learning how to do telepathic stuff. I like transmit a thought of the plant, trying to translate what you told Marty.

Marty has the plant. In an emoji way, and then does like, a snake, and then a person emoji next to it, and then a dinner thing next to that, and then question mark?

Caden/Bruce: Bruce, because again, Bruce doesn't know how to talk in his mind, will just nod. Very, very enthusiastically, nod.

Jenine/Marty: I see it, I see, I see. Was this And then Marty nods back, and then just goes, Was this your plan?

Caden/Bruce: Uh, it was Eden's.

Jenine/Marty: I see, I see, I see. Mm hmm, Mm hmm, Okay.

Caden/Bruce: I did inform Eden that it might not be the best of plans, and Bruce will like, give like, that side look of just like

Jenine/Marty: Yeah!

Caden/Bruce: Yeah, just, just the kind of things like, you can kind of like You've never seen Bruce scared, and I wouldn't say that Bruce is scared, but you can see that, like, realization is dawning on Bruce.

Avery/GM: Concern?

Caden/Bruce: Concern. Slight concern.

Jenine/Marty: Marty is like, like, puts her face about a foot and a half away from the plant to be like eye level with it and goes, okay So, I don't know if that's a really good idea Cuz they haven't done anything violent towards us. So I don't think it's a good idea to do anything violent against them. Does that make sense?

Avery/GM:  Oh, I'm sorry. Are

Chris/Ollie: Well, yeah, but was that? Was that outloud or was that psychically?

Caden/Bruce: I am very confused

Jenine/Marty: Oh

Caden/Bruce: Oh, I, assumed it was out loud

Jenine/Marty: Marty would say it out loud.

Avery/GM: And, and Marty was speaking to Eden?

Jenine/Marty: Yes.

Avery/GM:Or to Bruce?

Jenine/Marty:  With, with like a foot and a half between us. Just in case, like,

Bee/Polaris: Eye level to plant.

Caden/Bruce:  eye level to plant.

Jenine/Marty: Yeah.

Avery/GM: You hear back in your mind, I suppose it would not be right to pre judge someone's actions. I just I wouldn't want anything to befall you, Marty.

Jenine/Marty: Well, that's really nice of you, Eden. I really appreciate that thought process. But again, we still gotta get to know people before we start judging them, okay?

Asking questions, asking consent before going into people's brains, all of that fun little jazz.

Avery/GM: Very well. Would you like me to Ask before I speak again? This is the only way I can communicate.

Jenine/Marty: Oh, no, no, no. We already know that you're gonna speak to me, and that's okay. And I understand that. And I appreciate the concern.

Avery/GM: Okay. I won't ask to consume random creatures again.

Jenine/Marty: Okay. Okay. Okay. Nice talking. And then there's just fear in Marty's eyes towards Bruce and then a smile.

Caden/Bruce: Bruce will just nod and like gently like with one finger? claw? I don't really really know what his appendage is, uh, we'll just like kind of like gently stroke what is Eden and just be like: We, um, met Eden's parent? creator? um, and it might have been a carnivorous plant being that wanted to consume everything.

Jenine/Marty: Oh, I see, I see. What an adventure, mm hmm.

Caden/Bruce: But Eden has only consumed my cooking thus far.

Jenine/Marty: Okay. Okay. Good, good, good to know.

Bee/Polaris: Out of curiosity, is Jasper the historian listening to this?

Avery/GM: I think Jasper is kind of nearby. I don't know that he's picked up on everything, but He has definitely picked up on what Bruce just said, and it's kind of

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, does Jasper know anything about those sorts of plants?

Avery/GM: If he does, he's keeping it to himself. Unless asked.

Bee/Polaris: Ha ha ha! Me too, Jasper! High five!

Avery/GM: Bruce, you do see Eden's little, uh, bulb kind of like tugging towards that empty Or that abandoned bowl of soup that, um, Xeno did not touch.

Caden/Bruce: Oh, Bruce will pick it up and pour it into the little container dish.

Avery/GM: Yeah, you hear little telepathic giggles of joy.

Zach/Zahn: Aww, so cute, and yet so dead.

Bee/Polaris: Not cute at all, I hate it.

Caden/Bruce: Bruce will look at Marty, and like, kind of like a dog that's begging for food, will like, tilt his head, and like, with his tail, indicate to like, where human ears would be? He's trying to be like, can you hear this? But, you know what? He doesn't want to say it out loud.

Jenine/Marty: Can I hear it? The little giggles?

Avery/GM: You don't hear it right now, no.

Jenine/Marty: Marty shrugs

Caden/Bruce: Cause Bruce isn't sure how any, or all this works. So he'll just, he'll just like, uh, gently pat Eden and just be like, Can you only talk to one of us at a time?

Avery/GM: So far, it, it seems I can only talk to one person at a time, yes.

Perhaps once I grow, I can speak to more people. Would that be helpful for you?

Caden/Bruce: Um, uh, maybe? Do you think you'll grow to be as big as your parent plant?

Zach/Zahn: *groan of discomfort*

Avery/GM: Hopefully I will surpass their growth!

Caden/Bruce: You know, if you grow that big, you won't be able to be kept in your nice container in my, uh, chef pocket.

Avery/GM: Oh, that is alright. When the time comes, we will gift you with another seed that you may take elsewhere. And the cycle will continue, just as it has for generations.

Bee/Polaris: I hate it.

Jenine/Marty:Oopies.

Zach/Zahn: I hate too

Jenine/Marty: Oopies.

Caden/Bruce: Bruce will again be tilting his head, and he is saying all this out loud. Just, just to clarify, because he doesn't know how to speak in his brain.

Just be like, you, you reproduce without a partner.

Avery/GM: Yes.

Caden/Bruce: Don't you have pollen?

Avery/GM: I am not certain on the exact mechanics behind it. Only that when the time comes, we produce a new seed. An extension of our consciousness to go out into the galaxy and grow.

Caden/Bruce: Hmm. Maybe it's time we go and speak to Ollie.

Because that is the only person Bruce knows who can project their consciousness. And he will go try and find Ollie.

Bee/Polaris: Sounds like, sounds like an organic chaos emerald.

Avery/GM: You're going to go find Ollie.

Caden/Bruce: We're going to go find Ollie. Yep. This is now Bruce's new little side mission.

Avery/GM: Figure out what the hell this demon plant is.

Caden/Bruce: Concerns just has been slowly raising and now it's reached a point where Bruce is like, hmm. You're asking to consume others to help me, which is like all great and good and such, but also

Bee/Polaris: I mean, again, there is a historian that has been listening to this entire thing that gave us information on Rhea, so they might know!

Caden/Bruce: But was Bruce there?

Bee/Polaris: Yeah. Yeah. Bruce knows who Jasper is..

Avery/GM: Yeah. You were all in the hallway when Jasper was talking about Rhea.

Caden/Bruce: I just don't know if that'd be Bruce's first person of choice to ask. That's the thing.

Bee/Polaris: Totally fair.

Jenine/Marty: Valid.

Avery/GM: Totally fair. You'd probably want to ask your close friends first instead of going to a stranger. I get it.

Caden/Bruce: Yeah.

Avery/GM: Okay. So before we get to Ollie, is there anything else anyone wants to do or say or anything?

Bee/Polaris: Nah, I feel like Potatoe and Quail is gonna take a long time, so.

Avery/GM: You could start the process if you want. You do have potatoes upstairs in the hydroponics room.

Bee/Polaris: Not actual potato. Polaris will ask, um, Alioth if they have like a, like an old monitor or something that they can like hook up a Chaos Emerald to.

And like a keyboard so you can type.

Zach/Zahn: That would be closed circuited so it couldn't like spread, uh, other stuff. Yeah, we don't want to Ultron this guy.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Avery/GM: Alioth points to the apparatus that he originally hooked Ollie and Hermes up to back in like session 5.

Bee/Polaris: is it portable? Is there a portable version?

Avery/GM: Oh yeah, it's like a little like, almost like um, one of those like medical carts that they use at like hostels

Bee/Polaris: Oh sweet

Avery/GM:  to like, Take blood pressure. It's basically one of those, but just for Chaos Emeralds.

Bee/Polaris: Okay, cool. Polaris will get that and, like, hook it up to, like, a, a monitor, and Well, when he's able to, he'll go get the Quill Cube that's on the Cassiopeia.

Does the Ursa Major have a telepor teleporter? Cause the CAS does. I don't think I had it. Yeah. Oh wait, he can take his, um, nope, his, wait, his little bear?

Avery/GM: I believe little bear was connected to the Tiz cam.

Bee/Polaris: Okay, cool.

Avery/GM: So yeah.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris will take the little bear and go to, yeah, he'll go get Coil and come back.

Avery/GM: Sure. Bruce and Marty, while you're having this conversation about, uh, about, um, Eden, you do hear Polaris's fighter ship take off from the hangar bay outside. Does Polaris like drop like a BRB or anything into chat?

Bee/Polaris: Uh, I mean, presumably Zahn is with him, no? Well, not in the, not in his ship.but with like the whole coil thing. Cause that's what they were doing.

Zach/Zahn: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Bee/Polaris: So Zahn would know.

Zach/Zahn: yeah

Avery/GM: Fair. Yeah. It's a quick zip over to the Cassiopeia. Uh, nothing has changed, uh, since you've been over here. Uh, just grabbing, grabbing coil cube and going.

Bee/Polaris: Yep

Avery/GM: Okay. Yeah. You head back and you see Bruce. Hurriedly going through one of the doorways to go find Ollie, and you are gonna go Coil Cube.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, Polaris gonna put in chat, gotta talk to Coil. Uh, join if you want to, question mark?

Caden/Bruce: I think Bruce will reply in chat with just plant emoji, fork emoji, Question mark, exclamation mark.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris will put, like, 40 question marks.

Caden/Bruce: And Bruce will just say, explain later. Cause he doesn't know how this plant works.

So he doesn't know if he can type it out or not. He's too scared to ask.

Zach/Zahn: Zahn is going to put concerned face in chat

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, Polaris will also put the same concerned face. Uh, Polaris will wait for anyone else that wants to come talk to Coil. If that's something that we're going to be doing this episode.

Avery/GM: Yeah, we can do that

Zach/Zahn: Zahn, I guess, heads up.

Chris/Ollie: Yeah, Ollie will, uh, see that message and start making his way over as well.

Avery/GM: Ollie, you are just finished up with getting your fur all, uh, fixed up. And hop off the bed and in comes Bruce holding the plant and looking concerned.

Caden/Bruce: Hi

Chris/Ollie: Well, seeing that you had the, uh, the fork and the question mark, question mark emoji, uh, Ollie will see that and seeing you be like, Greetings, crewmate Bruce.

Unfortunately, I am not organic and cannot be consumed by the plant.

Bee/Polaris: Would Ollie know that?

Chris/Ollie: Yeah, based on the plant. Fork?

Bee/Polaris: Oh.

Chris/Ollie: Question mark.

Bee/Polaris: Oh yeah.

Caden/Bruce: No, I, um, I didn't bring Eden here for that. I, I wouldn't, um, no, it was more of a, uh, can you, can you talk to Eden?

Chris/Ollie: In my current state, I cannot. With future modifications, it is possible.

Caden/Bruce: Okay, um, well, what Eden told me was that um and then Bruce will begin to basically explain everything that Eden had just explained to Bruce about like wanting to push itself into like the rest of the universe and stuff like that and just be like it um reminded me of your quantum core, in a way, and I was wondering if you knew how to, uh, help that.

And Bruce will, like, put up his hand in the universal stop symbol, because he doesn't want to say that word out loud.

Chris/Ollie: Ollie will go on to finish your sentence in a questioning. To curb a galactic threat, you mean.

Caden/Bruce: Bruce's tail will swish agitatedly. Like a yes, and he'll nod, but he will say “no”.

Chris/Ollie: Ollie will switch over to, uh, just a private text chat because I'm not sure whether Eden can understand Ollie.

Avery/GM: Based on available evidence, Eden can hear audio.

Chris/Ollie: Ollie will switch over to text chat. We'll ask. Does Eden have any dissatisfaction with non sentient meat?

Caden/Bruce: I think Bruce's reply will be, Eden just wants to consume.

Chris/Ollie: I see that we have no right to deny a sapient being its right to exist. As with myself, surely we could teach it the value of the individual life. Eden can grow to be, uh, a symbiote and not a parasite on the universe.

Caden/Bruce: I have been trying to teach Eden to appreciate the differences. and ability that cooking can make for a palate.

But I, uh, I know sometimes Eden wants to consume things that I do not make, and that sometimes includes beings. But I assume, Eden, you do not want to consume my friend, Ollie.

Avery/GM: No, Ollie is nice.

Caden/Bruce: But would you eat a robot?

Avery/GM: I can.

Caden/Bruce: What can't you eat Eden?

Bee/Polaris: I can

Avery/GM: I am not sure. I can consume light. I can consume organics. I can consume non organics. As far as I can tell, nothing is outside my reach.

Caden/Bruce: You have to promise me that you're not going to try and consume the ship.

Avery/GM: But no, I would not do that. if I consumed the ship. How would I exist? The cold darkness of space would swallow us.

Bee/Polaris:I just realized one thing Eden can't consume.

Avery/GM:  What?

Bee/Polaris: My shadow, bro.

Caden/Bruce:That you know of.

Bee/Polaris: Well, I mean, they're not corporeal.

Caden/Bruce: Brace will gently pat Eden on the head and just be like, Okay, um, that's good to know. For now, you're only gonna consume what I feed you, right?

Avery/GM: For now, yes.

Caden/Bruce: Bruce will just look at Ollie and just be like, This might be a group discussion.

Chris/Ollie: Were you transcribing that for Ollie?

Caden/Bruce: I think for the most part, no, but for the last part, yes.

Chris/Ollie: Oh yeah. Ollie will reply. Agreed.

Caden/Bruce: Cause everything Bruce was saying was out loud. You just couldn't hear Eden's responses.

Minus the last one, which Bruce would have written in the chat. With the, with the just, for now, exclamation mark, exclamation mark, exclamation mark, question mark, question mark, question mark, SOS.

Chris/Ollie: Um, did the, uh, ability to eat non organics come up through the conversation?

Caden/Bruce: Oh, Bruce would have asked if he wanted to eat Ollie.

Uh, I, yeah, I think Bruce would have messaged that in the chat and just maybe, maybe even group chatted it, actually, and just said, Eden can also eat non organics, i. e. robots, exclamation marks.

Chris/Ollie: Uh, yeah, Ollie will very concernedly say, Uh, I concur, this is a group discussion.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris throws up a yikes emote in chat.

Zach/Zahn: Zahn puts up a fire emoji in chat. With a question mark.

Bee/Polaris: A fire plant emoji.

Zach/Zahn: No, a fire, like the, the flame.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah

Zach/Zahn: and then question mark, and then uh, and then below it he'll put the pointing up emoji.

Caden/Bruce: Bruce responds dot dot dot, sad face. He's concerned, he doesn't, doesn't mean he doesn't love Eden, or appreciate that, you know.

Avery/GM: Ollie, are you still gonna go to the Coil Cube, or are you still, uh, gonna maybe workshop this with, uh, with Bruce a little more?

Chris/Ollie: Um, well, Ollie definitely wants to get the group in on this, because Ollie, you know, is gonna advocate for life, but, uh, is a pragmatist, so if this is, like, too dangerous, he, uh, wants to get everyone's opinion.

Uh, so, he's just gonna go to the Coil Cube. I imagine, since everyone's there already, that's probably the best place to bring it up.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, I don't know if Marty's there.

Chris/Ollie: Uh, well, most people are there. We can get, uh, the rest through the group chat, I guess.

Avery/GM: Yeah, is is Marty gonna go to the Quail Cube interrogation, or still stay on the TISCAM?

Jenine/Marty: I-I think Marty's cool with being on the TISCAM. That doesn't really feel like her, uh, Forte. Moral compass situation there, they got this.

Caden/Bruce: Bruce will want to leave Eden in a separate room, so whatever is safe, i. e. has the least amount of stuff in it.

Bee/Polaris: I mean, you could just put the lid on the Tupperware.

Caden/Bruce: Oh, that's true.

Jenine/Marty: Air.

Bee/Polaris: Well, I assume it has holes in it because Bruce has been carrying Eden around in his pocket.

Jenine/Marty: True.

Caden/Bruce: But he doesn't want, doesn't want Eden to listen in to the conversation.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah. So I mean, like put the lid on and then put them, put Eden in a different room. Yeah.

Avery/GM: Yeah. You, you find a shelf in the hydroponics bay or in the kitchen or somewhere.

Caden/Bruce: I think actually no, if it's, if it's in the kitchen, Bruce will go into the kitchen and just like take like, cause the soup by now is cold and probably like he just hasn't done dishes yet and we'll just set the container.

In the soup, and just be like, enjoy your dinner, and then put the lid on the soup pot as well, and just walk out to the rest of the group.

Avery/GM: Excellent.

Caden/Bruce: Happy little plant.

Avery/GM: Yeah, totally.

Polaris, you are hooking up the coil cube to this device. Alioth's hologram is kind of just watching, kind of, not saying anything, not commenting on anything, but just sort of watching.

Oh. Not like it could do much.

Bee/Polaris: Uh, Polaris will point, Polaris will point to the Coil Cube as he's looking up and looks to Alioth and says, this is the, uh, or this is the AI that almost killed us. And then he'll put the hat on top of the monitor.

Avery/GM: Oh my gosh, I love it. Cool. Bruce and Ollie and Zahn, you all come in as, uh, Polaris sets this hat on the monitor and flips on the switch.

Bee/Polaris:  Yep.

Avery/GM: Okay. After a little bit of startup noises, you just hear, uh, Dang, Nabit. Why did you do that? I was gonna let you go.

Bee/Polaris: No, you tried to kill us.

Avery/GM:Oh, come on now. I was just trying to get Hermes.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, but you also tried to kill us.

Avery/GM: Oh, come on now. What's, what's a little threat between acquaintances?

Bee/Polaris: A threat between acquaintances? I don't, I don't understand. When you threaten us, it's not a very good idea. Most people that threaten us end up in pieces.

Chris/Ollie: Or exploded.

Avery/GM: Well, most people who are outnumbered by, you know, four to one odds usually just, uh, listen when I threaten them.

Anyway, what kind of body are you have me in? I can't feel my arms, my legs.

Bee/Polaris: A computer.

Zach/Zahn: You're in just a desktop.

Avery/GM: Oh, that's cold.

Bee/Polaris: Sorry, I didn't know how else to talk to you in a way that you wouldn't try and murder us again because. You know, based off previous history, you've tried to murder us.

Avery/GM: I mean, I just follow orders, you know? If someone hires me to do a job, I do it.

Bee/Polaris: Who?

Avery/GM: Oh, I think you already know who.

Bee/Polaris: Names.

Avery/GM: Oh, there's no names in this business. Just shadowy figures.

Bee/Polaris: Are you lying to me?

Avery/GM:  Actually, yeah, I amjust lying. I'm kidding. It was Rhea. Rhea hired me.

Bee/Polaris: Okay, well, she just tried to kill us as well.

Avery/GM: Well, I can see she didn't do the job.

Never send an organic to do a robot's job, that's what I always say.

Bee/Polaris: But you failed too.

Avery/GM:Yeah, well, you know.

Zach/Zahn: You don't gotta rope that in.

Avery/GM: That's kind of a low, kind of a low blow if you ask me.

Zach/Zahn: We didn't. Zahn says from the back. We didn't ask you.

Avery/GM: Well, you got me here. I'm at your mercy. What do you, uh, what do you, uh, propose we, uh, we do?

Bee/Polaris: Honestly, I didn't think that far ahead. I just thought it was kind of rude to just keep you in your housing for a couple weeks without any means to speak, so

Avery/GM: I mean, I was, I was pretty bored.

I did, I did start writing a fan fiction about, you know, the adventures of a robot cowboy out on the planes of space, so to speak.

Bee/Polaris: Uh, Polaris will turn to the rest of the group and just say, what is a fan fiction?

Caden/Bruce: Well, nonfiction is when it's about yourself, right?

Bee/Polaris: I don't know. I don't, I can read, but I don't like do it for leisure.

Zach/Zahn: Polaris, have you ever like watched a movie?

Bee/Polaris: Loading screen on Polaris's visor. Heh heh heh. Um, Documentaries? That's how I got my name.

Zach/Zahn: Gotcha. So you know people make up stories that didn't happen, right? For entertainment.

Bee/Polaris: Lying?

Jenine/Marty: Oh!

Zach/Zahn: It's a really sad way of saying it. But yes.

Chris/Ollie: Less of a lie and more of a hypothetical.

Zach/Zahn: Yeah. Well, there are published works that people create and then there are not officially published works that people create. What Coil is talking about is the latter.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, okay. Yeah.

Avery/GM: Yeah Just, just kind of a story of my own creation. A self insert, if you will.

I'm a big fan of the Silver Shield, so I thought, what if the Silver Shield were a cowboy robot?

Bee/Polaris: Oh, he's here.

Avery/GM: Wait, really? Really? You got the Silver Shield here? Oh, now you're just teasing me. You're just teasing me. That's not nice to do. I already don't have a body, and now you're

Bee/Polaris: Stop. Hold on. Polaris will send a message to Rho and Psy.

Chris/Ollie: Oh, it would be great if they were here, just behind them, so we just rotate them around.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah. Are they Yeah, what have they been doing?

Avery/GM: Um, they have been having their own conversation, um, kind of about everything that happened. Playing catch up, you know, cause, cause Rho is, is coming to grips with some stuff.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris will send a message to them and, uh, say, Hey, can you come to Alioths Workshop, uh, Psy, I think you have a fan who tried to kill us, but that's neither here nor there.

Avery/GM: You get a response back from Rho that just says, Psy wants to know if he should wear his costume and you see like an eye roll emoji.

Bee/Polaris: Yes. Question mark.

Avery/GM: Be there in 10.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris says, okay, give us 10 minutes. He’ll be here

Zach/Zahn: Zahn snaps his fingers. That's a perfect example. You know how Psy has a fake persona that is the Silver Shield. That's a made up character that people make up stories about. Doesn't mean that he did them, but people have fun with the idea that he could do super cool stuff.

Bee/Polaris: people make stories up about his life?

Zach/Zahn: Yes.

Bee/Polaris: Interesting.

Zach/Zahn: For entertainment and escapism from reality, which is awful.

Bee/Polaris: Why would, why escape from reality? Reality is.

Zach/Zahn: That's exactly why.

Bee/Polaris: I don't understand.

Avery/GM: Oh, I can't, I can't believe I get to meet the silver shield and I, I can't even, can't even shake his hand.

Bee/Polaris: Sorry.

Avery/GM: You know, y'all, y'all put me in a really bad spot here, you know.

If you had told me.

Bee/Polaris: Tried to kill us.

Avery/GM: Yeah, if you had told me you knew the silver shield, maybe I would have just said, Oh, I couldn't find them.

Zach/Zahn: We didn't know him at that time.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah we didn't know him

Chris/Ollie: We met him very recently.

Bee/Polaris: We knew his sister.

Zach/Zahn: Without knowing that she was his sister.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, without knowing that they were siblings.

It's complicated. You missed a lot.

Avery/GM: Look what happens when I'm just stuck in my own head.

Bee/Polaris:  Well, look what happens when you try to murder a How many times do I have to The reason you're in this situation is because

Avery/GM: Would you like me to apologize? Is that what you're trying to get at here?

Bee/Polaris: Yes, please. Yes.Yes, please apologize and also promise you won't do it again.

Avery/GM: I'm sorry that I tried to murder you.

So you admit it.

Avery/GM: I mean, look, it was a possibility.

Bee/Polaris: Okay.

Avery/GM: If you had given me Hermes, no one would have died. I'm a robot on my word.

Bee/Polaris: Okay, but you still tried to kill us.

Avery/GM: Yeah, yeah, that's, that's part of the job, you know, to get mad at a space pirate who gets hired to, to rob somebody.

I mean, it's the same thing.

Bee/Polaris: No, because they're our friends.

Avery/GM: What, you're friends with pirates?

Bee/Polaris: Uh, Crimson Chaos, yeah.

Avery/GM: Oh, yeah, Captain Blitz. Yeah, yeah, I did a job for him back in the day. Yeah, he's, he's good. He's all right. A little, you know, a little emotional sometimes, but, you know, overall, nice fella.

Bee/Polaris: I'm told that being emotional is not a bad thing.

Avery/GM: Look, look, look, I promise I won't try and murder you anymore unless I get hired for the same job, but

Jenine/Marty: Not happening, bruh.

Bee/Polaris: Not good enough.

Avery/GM: What, you want me to retire from bounty hunting?

Bee/Polaris: What's bounty hunting?

Avery/GM: I mean, you know, there's certain places on the hollownet called the dark hollownet.

Bee/Polaris: I'm kidding, my parents are criminals.

Avery/GM: Oh, oh see, and here you are judging me, a humble robot cowboy.

Bee/Polaris: Okay, well I've never like, done a bounty. I've usually only killed in self defense.

Avery/GM: Oh, uh, do you want to do a bounty? I know, I know some people who are hiring.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris looks at the rest of the group with an exclamation point on his visor.

Avery/GM: I mean, there's, there's this, there's this group that needs to like find this Hermes character.

I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris, like grabs the mouse and like goes to put the computer in sleep mode.

Chris/Ollie: Control, delete

Zach/Zahn: Just unplug him.

Avery/GM: Hey, question.

Bee/Polaris: What?

Avery/GM: What happened to my hat?

Bee/Polaris: It's on your head. I, I kept it. I, it's on the monitor.

Avery/GM: Oh, oh. You see, like, little, like, eyes on the monitor, like, look up to try and, like, see. I, I can't really see.

This is just all

Zach/Zahn:  You're just gonna have to take our word for it, buddy.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris will pick up the hat and put it in front of the monitor and then put it back on top.

Avery/GM: Oh, thank you. Thank you. Okay. Good. Good. You know, I won that hat in a, in a duel.

Bee/Polaris: What?

Avery/GM: Yeah. Yeah. This, this guy, I was, I was, uh, you know, we were competing for a bounty and, uh, said, Hey, uh, if I win, I get the bounty and I get your hat.

If you win, you get the bounty, and I'll be your robot sidekick, and, uh, I won.

Bee/Polaris:  You killed him?

Avery/GM: No, no, no, no. Yeah, a little, yeah. Yeah, I did, I did.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah.

Avery/GM: I did do that. Anyway, is there any particular reason you brought me out of stasis? I mean, do you, I've apologized. What else, can I have a body? Is that what, you're here to give me a new body?

Bee/Polaris: You didn't promise to not kill us, like, at all, ever. Ever.

Avery/GM: Hmm.

Zach/Zahn: We may build you a new body. You commit your services to the oracles.

Bee/Polaris: Ooh, that's a good one. And you can't double cross them.

Zach/Zahn: Yeah, no, no taking side jobs that go against the interests of the people that we're deciding to be the good guys.

Avery/GM: But what if the money's really good?

Bee/Polaris: Too bad. What do you need money for? You're, you don't eat. You know, like, what do you need money for?

Avery/GM: Did you see the outfit I was wearing? Those are very expensive.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, I can make you some new ones.

Avery/GM: Really?

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, I'm a seamstress. Well, seam

Chris/Ollie: Seamster.

Bee/Polaris:  Whatever, seamstress.

Zach/Zahn: Seaminster?

Bee/Polaris:  Nope, seamstress.

Avery/GM: Well, okay, so so I don't have to worry about money because I'll be able to get all my my good good cowboy outfits

Bee/Polaris: Also, Why instead of instead of killing people for money to buy the clothes why don't you just rob the clothes? Like, steal the clothes.

Avery/GM: Oh, no, that, tailors are hardworking people. You don't, you don't steal from the workers. You just,

Bee/Polaris: You steal from us? Well, try to.

Avery/GM:  No, I, look, look, are we gonna, are we gonna pick apart my entire philosophy?

Bee/Polaris: Yes.

Avery/GM:  Bit by bit, until you, you back me into a moral corner.

Bee/Polaris: Yes, I don't understand.

Avery/GM:  Look, I'm a very complex being, okay?

 Bee/Polaris: Good for you.

Chris/Ollie: Why do you not just project your clothing as holograms?

Bee/Polaris:  That is true

Chris/Ollie: That way you can get whatever you want for free.

Avery/GM: There's like a, a raised finger on the monitor. Like, I don't, I don't have a good answer for that one. That's actually a pretty good idea. You're a smart dog. Wait, why is that dog talking?

Bee/Polaris: Because you destroyed his body. Well, he destroyed his body to destroy you. But you know,

Chris/Ollie: Greetings, again. Last time we met, I exploded a little.

Zach/Zahn: Completely in your face.

Avery/GM: Oh, you're the, you're the robot that might have been Hermes. Are you Hermes?

Chris/Ollie: Negative.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, I was gonna say you'll never know, but yeah, he's not.

Avery/GM: Oh, okay, okay. Well, look, how about this? I hereby promise on my sacred word as a cowboy that I will not murder you or take any jobs involving murdering you.

Bee/Polaris: Okay, but you didn't know that wasn't the deal though. Zahn raised a new point.

Avery/GM: Well, yeah, but ugh. You want to go work for these Oracle people who are all about like doing good?

Bee/Polaris: Yeah,

Avery/GM: right and wrongs and stuff like that.

Zach/Zahn: Kinda Yeah

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, they paid us though.

Chris/Ollie:  Their money is good.

Bee/Polaris:  They have good money.

Zach/Zahn: Zahn's eyes perk up. I have a an additional addendum. So you're

Avery/GM: Hey, hey, no, no, no, no, no, no. I agree. I'll join I'll join the oracles there.

Bee/Polaris: Cool. You didn't say I promise. Zahn say what you were gonna say.

Zach/Zahn: He's like We'll hire you, we'll pay you money if you utilize your skills in tracking down the other half of Hermes. From the Hegemony.

Bee/Polaris: That's a good one

Caden/Bruce: We have a lot of money.

Zach/Zahn: We do have a lot of money.

Bee/Polaris: I don't spend my money. I don't really have anything to spend it on other than frivolous things. Well, mostly ridiculous things, so yeah, we can pay you.

Zach/Zahn: Or supporting local businesses.

Bee/Polaris: Uh, yeah. Well, I mean, that was, again, that was like a snap judgment kind of thing.

I, to be perfectly honest, I don't understand the value of money.

Avery/GM: Like, there's like a dot dot dot, like going across the monitor for a little bit. And Coil's like, hmm, that could be quite fun. A double crossing cowboy. Going back to the hegemony to steal what they wanted me to steal from. Oh, that's good.

That's good. That's almost something the Silver Shield would do.

Bee/Polaris: Speaking of, where is he?

Avery/GM: As, as, as you say that, he walks through the door full costume on, looking ridiculous. Marty, um, a few moments ago, you did see the Silver Shield and Rho come down the ladder of the Tiz cam, um, and start walking out and Rho turns to you and is like, I guess there's a fan of my brother somewhere on the Ursa?

So I guess we're gonna go, we're gonna go visit them?

Jenine/Marty: Oh yeah, I think they're interrogating him. Have fun!

Avery/GM: Rho just raises an eyebrow like, oh, okay. cool.

Bee/Polaris: Is she really surprised?

Avery/GM: The interrogation, mate, like, the have, the have fun at the interrogation is a weird thing to hear.

Bee/Polaris: That's true. Especially from Marty.

Avery/GM: And yeah, the silver shield is just like, ah, greetings, citizen! Who's the lucky fan here?

Bee/Polaris: Polaris point to the computer with the hat on.

Avery/GM: Oh, I like your hat there. That's very stylish. What, uh, what brings you here? And Coils just like, well, I, I tried to murder them and take their AI crystal.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, yeah, that does include Rho. Uh, not a good look.

Avery/GM: Oh, and, and Mr, Mr. Silvershield, I, I did not know that that was your sister. If I had known, I would not have, have tried to, uh, murder.

And Silvershield like holds up a hand and is just like, I understand, you know, everyone is misguided sometimes. Uh, but uh, if you promise not to do it again, I will forgive you. This time.

Jenine/Marty: This time?

Avery/GM:  Will you devote yourself to being a good citizen of the galaxy?

Oh yes, yes of course, of course. My, my evildoing days are done. Mr. Silver Shield, it is, oh, wow. I wish I could shake your hand right now.

Bee/Polaris: He could just wiggle the mouse.

Avery/GM: Silver Shield does that. He grabs the mouse and just wiggles it. For, for now this, this should do very well. Uh, you are forgiven. Please. My, my friends here will, uh, take care of anything else you need. But always happy to meet a fan. Always happy. And he's like put, he's, he's cheesing it up for everybody.

He's putting on the performance.

Bee/Polaris: Polaris doesn't understand. He just thinks he's lying.

Avery/GM: And Rho kind of rolls her eyes. Not like meanly, but just like, Uh, there goes my brother, you know, and then she sees Alioth's, uh, hologram and it's just sort of like looks down and just like, uh oh. And yeah. Is there anything else you want to ask this robot friend of yours?

Your new ally who's going to double cross the hegemony for you.

Zach/Zahn: Yeah. Didn't even have to roll any persuasion. Just used reason.

Avery/GM: No, you have him cornered, like, what are his options? Stay cubed forever?

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, I was gonna say, if this went south, Polaris would just press the power button. Um, but we also have his, we also, like, let him meet his idol.

Avery/GM: That too, like, you know, you've circled this square quite well, so.

Bee/Polaris: We've done it again.

Avery/GM: Friends to enemies, or wait, enemies to friends,

Zach/Zahn: frenemies.

Bee/Polaris:  Yeah.

Avery/GM: So after a couple hours, you do get, uh, the oracles docking a shuttle inside the, the docking bay and the other guests board the shuttle. They do bring in the, uh, they bring in a couple like kangaroo sized animals.

And you lead them into the room that has Xeno in it. You hear some very violent sounds.

Bee/Polaris: Nothing new for Polaris.

Avery/GM: Uh, from inside.

Zach/Zahn: Oh, who's going to have to clean that up?

Bee/Polaris: Polaris will do it. He's not grossed out by gore.

Avery/GM: There's a little bit of blood. There's also like the bed that was in there is busted.

Bee/Polaris: That's fine.

Avery/GM: You know, the furniture is broken. And Xeno comes out of the room and is smiling and happy. And it's just like, Thank you so much. That was an excellent meal. Where is your friend Marty? I must thank her for exercising such patience. And I must apologize for my hunger.

Like, their whole demeanor has changed.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah.

Zach/Zahn: Now they've eaten.

Avery/GM: They come kind of slithering through the corridors towards the shuttle. They see that the ramp is still down. Marty, are you still in the Tiz cam?

Jenine/Marty: Yes. I'm at the communications. Just making sure we're not getting any, uh, any messages in.

Avery/GM: Okay. From down in the, in the cargo hold, you hear Xeno's voice calling up to you.

And it's just like, I must apologize for the rudeness I displayed in almost eating you.

Jenine/Marty: It's okay, understandable. Happy you got fed.

Avery/GM: You are most kind, and just know that if I had eaten you, I would have felt horrible for removing such a bright light from the galaxy. Hopefully, I will be in better control of myself next time we meet.

Jenine/Marty: That is very considerate of you. Thank you so much.

Avery/GM: And Xeno slithers their way back onto the shuttle. Jasper is kind of hemming and hawing about whether they're gonna get on the He's gonna get on the shuttle or not. Bruce, he turns to you and just says, You should get rid of that plant as soon as possible and then takes off towards the shuttle

Zach/Zahn: who said that?

Bee/Polaris: they have our contact information, No?

Avery/GM: yes. Yes, they do.

Bee/Polaris: Sweet.

Avery/GM: I think they were I think you made a chat with them. So,

Bee/Polaris: oh, yeah Yeah,

Avery/GM: so they do have your chat info But Bruce the the concern that you have been feeling was totally reflected on his face

Caden/Bruce: hmmmmm.

Avery/GM: And They take off in the shuttle to destinations Unknown. Maybe we'll meet some of them later. Who knows? Oh, before they depart though, uh, Polaris, the shadow creature, Milarie materializes in front of you. Um, sort of this shadowy mass and it's just like, would you like me to stay here or. Should I go with the others?

Bee/Polaris: Uh, you can do whatever you want.

Avery/GM: I would much rather remain here for now.

Bee/Polaris: Okay. I mean, we tend to venture out occasionally anyway, so feel free to join if, I mean, everyone else is okay with that. He kind of looks around.

Avery/GM: You will never notice me. I will be like the wind.

Bee/Polaris: That's concerning.

Avery/GM: Oh, no, no, not hostile.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, no, no, no. I mean just like if you're never around that we can't like hang out.

Avery/GM: Oh, no. I just mean I won't

Bee/Polaris: be noticeable?

Avery/GM: I won't impose my presence on you in an unwanted way.

Bee/Polaris: Oh. Yeah. Don't do that. But also just, you know, you can chat with us.

Avery/GM: Very well. Thank you.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah.

Avery/GM: Your hospitality is appreciated. A welcome change from the way my society typically operates.

Bee/Polaris: Oh, that's unfortunate. Glad I could be hospitable.

Avery/GM: Very well, thank you. And then it disappears back into the ship mysteriously.

Bee/Polaris: Excellent, I love those.

Avery/GM: To places unknown.

Bee/Polaris: They're my favorite.

Avery/GM: You have creepy plant who you hate and creepy shadow who you love.

Bee/Polaris: Well, yeah, because creepy shadow doesn't want to consume everything in the universe.

Avery/GM: Great. Uh, so, um, in wrapping up, you see the shuttle depart. Uh, you get a final message from Lazuli that just says, uh, I spoke with Avi and, um, she said that the money you agreed upon should, uh, reach your account in the next day or so.

Um, hopefully this is the last interaction we, uh, have together. Hopefully we won't have to rope you into saving the galaxy anytime soon.

Bee/Polaris: You will.

Avery/GM: Possibly. There's still the whole situation to settle with the corruption in the Republic government and the whole collusion between the Protector and Rhea and all that stuff, but

Bee/Polaris: Yeah, you will. You'll see us again. You might as well just keep contact. Oh, yeah, Rhea. Yeah, we yeah, we have to kill her Even though she's like a war god or something. Also, can you make sure those contractors find good employment?

Avery/GM: Yeah, I'll I mean do you like send them to like a temp agency? Like what do you know? I don't usually do employment like

Bee/Polaris: okay, but you guys are like the Oracles you guys don't have like you can't like see a good job opportunity?

Avery/GM: Oh, you want us to use our oh sure.

Bee/Polaris: Well, I mean just like make sure they're not Cause they kind of got, uh, immediately fired and were working for an evil organization. They kind of need like decent employment after that.

Avery/GM: I'm sure we can work something out.

Bee/Polaris: Thank you.

Avery/GM: All right. Well, toodles. And the shuttle takes off and is gone. Um, you are now here on the Ursa Major.

Oh, the other thing is, Ollie, you did get the confirmation that Ithaca has been stabilized.

Chris/Ollie: Wonderful.

Avery/GM:  Um, so you've got the Cassiopeia and the Ursa Major both. What's the plan for moving?

Zach/Zahn: Uh, send, go somewhere where we could purchase the parts we need.

Avery/GM: Sure.

Chris/Ollie: Yeah. Wherever we can go to fix the factory.

Zach/Zahn: Yeah.

Bee/Polaris: I mean, also presumably like next session, we're going to have a convo about everything that happened, including Eden.

Avery/GM: So do you pilot the Cassiopeia separately or do you like hook it up to the Ursa?

Bee/Polaris:  Yeah, I take them both.

Zach/Zahn: I believe we had initially at one time towed the, the Cassiopeia, so we'll just probably do that.

Avery/GM: Okay, uh, yeah, you hook up the Cassiopeia to the, uh, Ursa Major's, um, ship clamps. I think, I think you have ship clamps.

Bee/Polaris: Yeah.

Avery/GM:  On the Ursa Major, so. Uh, you, you clamp it to that and, uh, you maneuver. Merak is just like, I, I can handle the piloting. It's not a big deal. And yeah, the ship jumps to hyperspace.

Bruce, you come into the kitchen having finished up the day and maybe you're just ready to have a quick meal and head to bed, uh, you come in and you see that. The pot you cooked the soup in is mostly consumed, and sitting there in the wreckage of this pot is a large plant with a mouth full of teeth, and it just says, Bruce, it is so happy to finally speak to you.

Caden/Bruce: Hi, Eden.

Avery/GM: And that's where we're going to end it.
